In 1980, Sri Gurudev moved his main residence to his new Ashram in Virginia. He was given a choice of telephone numbers for his residence and he selected 969-4878 because it read "Wow Guru" and was an easy way of remembering the number. He used to tell devotees that when they wanted to reach him to call, "Wow Guru."
In honor of his 88th Jayanthi, we established the "Sri Gurudev Inspiration Line" with his voice recording.
Simply dial: (434) WOW GURU or (434) 969-4878 whenever you wish to hear the Voice of the Master.
If someone else is listening to the message when you dial in, the phone will just ring; please call back. The message changes twice monthly, on the 1st and 15th of each month.
